Workshop Description

This Circular Economy workshop for Secondary Schools and Youth organisations introduces participants to the topic of waste and explores the fascinating world of circularity and reuse. We will explore attitudes towards waste and explore potential ways to make it into something beautiful and useful. We will achieve this through interactive games and visual aids. Learning Outcomes: • Learn about the different types of “waste” and their potential as valuable materials. • Discover the power of our consumer choice. • Explore circular economy and zero-waste practices that can be adapted at home, school and businesses. Curriculum Links: Science: Nature of Science, Physical World. Geography: Physical world, People, Place & Change, Interacting with the physical world, People in their Environment, Impacts of settlement on the environment. Business. CSPE. At our workshops, we offer a range of duration and delivery options to suit your needs. Whether you prefer in-person sessions or online workshops, each option offers unique advantages. For instance, a 45-minute online workshop provides a solid foundation, covering the basics effectively. However, opting for a longer, 90 minute to 2 hour 15 minute workshop enables deeper learning and allows us to accomplish more together. Choosing the extended option not only enriches your learning experience but also ensures we can delve into more advanced topics and incorporate more interactive activities, resulting in greater value. So, for a more comprehensive and in-depth session, we encourage you to consider the longer duration options.
